Acknowledgement of Country

We are very proud of the Punchbowl Public School Acknowledgement of Country.

On behalf of our Punchbowl Public School Community, we pay our respect to Elders, past, present and future and acknowledge the Bidjigal people of the Eora nation, who were the traditional custodians of the land on which we are learning together and growing as a safe, respectful and united community.

The Punchbowl Public School Acknowledgement of Country was developed by student leaders Ayah Eid, Nadia El Sayed, Amina Alam, Dwayne Tiulanae and Mohamad El Dhabi in collaboration with Aboriginal Community Liaison Officers Lesley Marks and Carol Brown and with Rose Manousaridis, Principal on Thursday 18 August 2016.
