100 YEARS OF PUNCHBOWL PUBLIC SCHOOL
On Saturday 22/10/2022, Punchbowl Public School celebrated its 100th year birthday! As befitting this special occasion, there was a party on the school grounds.
Past and present students, teachers, staff, principals, and local dignatories attended the celebrations. Following the traditional formal welcomes, speeches, and reminiscences, many student groups proudly entertained the gathering with performances they had rehearsed over several weeks.
Many of the Punchbowl Public School staff had also spent considerable time collecting memorabilia from the past 100 years of the school. This was on display in halls around the school and was clearly enjoyed by past students as memories flooded back.
The main school hall was used to display a large quantity of artwork produced by the current Punchbowl Public School students. Considerable student talent was displayed by some wonderful pieces of work.
